Title: K5U vs Z5U
Post by: Jameson on June 01, 2020, 09:11:39 AM
The manual calls out the 1.0uF 50V capacitors as Z5U. The capacitors I got were K5U. Are those the appropriate part?

Yes, those are the correct parts.

Got it, thank you. Can I also just state for the record that these tiny capacitors and resistors between pins are the goddamned worst?

I think the worst would be if they were BIG.

Fine, I stand corrected. They're the second worst. It just gets crowded with fiddly parts in those little tube bases!
