Title: Strange Issues with Left Channel
Post by: Macron on June 28, 2020, 10:36:45 AM
Hi guys, figured I'd come back here since you were all a great help when my crack build didn't work initially. So, after a couple months of normal usage it seemed like there was a channel imbalance and the left channel was way quieter. So I went back and checked that all resistance and voltages check pass, and both LEDs still turn on. Then I resoldered the connections on the pot and headphone jack. After plugging back my headphones the channels seemed fine and equal but after a minute or so static seemed to appear in the left channel and after jiggling the pot a bit there was no more sound coming from the left channel.

Attached are picture of the pot and the entire amp. Thanks again for the help!

I see many, many solder joints in here where I can't see any solder.  I also see many connections that aren't wrapped around the terminals they connect to.

Wrap your connections.

Resolder your joints (add more solder!).
