I have the iron upgrade and I have one question. PJ says
"The same goes for the output transformer primary; the dot goes to the parafeed cap and the other terminal goes to the middle terminal of the hum pot. The secondary is marked "c - 8 - 16" and C is the black output binding post. The wire from the red binding post goes to 8 or 16 depending on what impedance your speakers are."
My question concerns the output primary. There are two terminals, one marked PLATE and one marked AC GROUND. Am I correct in assuming that PLATE goes to the parafeed cap and AC GROUND goes to the middle terminal of the hum pot?

Yes, you are correct. The parafeed cap is taken from the output tube plate and on the other side of that cap you have your transformer primary dotted lead. The other connection keeps the cathode resistor and capacitor out of the transformer primary.

Thanks Grainger, Time to heat up the iron.
