Title: How hot should the top plate get?

After a few hours of use the top plate gets very hot to the point where it can only be touched for a few seconds. Is this normal? Would it help to install taller feet than the ones that came with the kit? I have the speedball upgrade installed. Thanks!

If your voltages are normal, then the heat is normal (assuming you have the feet installed and the power transformer properly mounted).
