Title: best budget phonostage for crack if quickie not available

anyone know of good tested phonostages for crack in the quickie budget range? stanton681eee cart with jico shibata or pickering d400 stylus  on deno dp1200 table...to phono....to crack 1.1...to senn HD650?

I'm a little confused. The (Bottlehead) quickie wasn't a phono stage.

Quickie was a line preamp, a cheap and good phono is "Very Simple Phono Stage".
You can build one for pennies!

they dont sell it anymore though..discontinued

The Quickie is discontinued.  The VSPS is available as a board or kit from phonoclone.

ill check it out thanks..but went with bugle 3 from Hagerman labs.

That is about twice the price of a quickie.

I would have saved my pennies for a Reduction. Anyway, let us know how you like the bugle.
