Title: Resistance checks help [resolved]
Post by: RestoredSparda on March 29, 2021, 09:36:38 AM
Hello all,

I've installed a few mods after success with the crack standard, and with speedball.

All resistance and voltage checks were great.

After a few mods were done I wanted to check everything over again.  All resistance checks were fine except for below..

7. Reads 15.35 M and climbing

9. Reads 6.05 M and climbing

B3. Reads 16.05 M and climbing

B6. Reads 6.05 M and climbing.

Mods completed were panasonic film caps, alps potentiometer, triad c-7x choke, and just this morning, the cree schotky diodes(please forgive spelling as I'm on mobile)

As the amp was working fine and still is working fine (all voltage checks were perfect, are these resistances something to be concerned of, or a byproduct of the film capacitors?

Thank you!  Please let me know what makes most sense to send photos of.

When you take the 3K resistors out to put the Speedball in, 7 and 9 (and the B socket connections that wire to them) will no longer read 3K.

Thanks for that Paul. I know very little about electronics and figured it would be worth checking. I appreciate the help!
