Hi,
I would like to make an toroidal transformer for my Crack. I calculated about 3A for the valve heaters. Do you think that 0,2A will be enough for the 175V high voltage?
Thanks ::)

Why would you do this? What are you trying to gain?

Some people change the capacitors... I have a friend that makes torodial transformers at home and I think he can make it fit in my chassis so I think to give it a try.
Maybe it will become better, maybe not. Who knows, not me :)

This would be the one item I would not change it the Crack. Just my two cents.

The stock PT-10 high-voltage winding is rated 250mA-RMS, but Crack uses about half of that. Should be fine. Stock DC resistance is 35-40 ohms.
