So i have Crack 1.1 in full functional condition, then i went for Speedball upgrade . So the problem is one of the red led lights not turning on (D1 B side ) when i do a test after soldering first board to the amp . All voltages and resistance are ok and are same as in the instructions. Not sure what is wrong cause i made absolutely sure all solder points are good . Anyone know what's going on ? Thx

Can you post the voltages you have on terminals 1-10?
How about also posting some build photos?

Is this on the small or the big board?
-
its on terminals that are on the bottom , ( closer to volume adjuster)
-
So the smaller PC board? Can you post a couple of photos of the board (top and bottom)?
-
wait were you talking about board that comes with speedball upgrade or just those 1-10 terminals on the bottom of the amp ??
-
The Speedball upgrade comes with two green PC boards with white text. The stock Crack has no PC boards. One is small and sits over the 9 pin 12AU7 socket and one is larger and sits just forward of the octal 6080 tube socket.
You have said you have a D1 LED out, but there are four D1 LEDs out. Which board is it on? Can you post photos of the top and bottom of the PC board with the LED that's not lighting up?
-
ok got it . cause you wanted voltages for terminal 1-10 so i thought it was for crack it self . I only installed 1 crack upgrade board cause in manual it said not to proceed if any LEDs are not lighting up. one sec im trying to see how to post pics here
-
Ah, excellent, you just have the small board in. That will make things quite a bit easier.

Here

Its not letting me post more then 2 pics at a time

You have a backwards transistor on your PC board.
-
Which one ?
-
Oooh wait i see it . Its that little black one . OMG im so stupid.

It happens, usually the "O" voltage on that side will show more like 50V when you do the voltage checks. Usually if you turn it back around it will still work fine.
