It's time once again to remind everyone to A) go back and tighten all the screws in your amp and B) clean all your connections with contact cleaner - tube pins and sockets, RCA jacks and plugs, switch contacts, pots and power cord connections.

This will solve a lot of hum/buzz/crackle/pop/hiss etc. noises.

Doc, would be very appreciative for a recommendation for a good time tested contact cleaner - Amazon has tons - hard to effectively wade through. Thank you.

Caig products are the classic. The D cleaner is good for heavier cleaning. Gold is good for lighter cleaning, i.e., not too oxidized. The fader lube is good for pots.
