They're pretty cool. Useful when you need a floating ground reading or if your out in the field. We have one in the lab that gets pulled out on certain occasions, but only when we really need it. Ours is some model of Fluke Scopemeter that cost around $1700 or so. Unless I really need it though, I stick to the Tek scopes on the benches. The screen resolution and options just aren't there in the hand-held models.

I don't know much about them but i think you would be better off with one of the computer based set ups...John
