Can I do this with my Crack kit
http://www.world-designs.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=5795
I have a spare 100K resistor and wondered if this would work in the Crack? It worked great in my WAD KIT6550 giving a more detailed sound.
Or would it reduce the volume with my HD600's too much?

Yes, but you need two for stereo. If it doesn't pad it as you want you can try other values.
I do these kinds of things with jumpers first then make it permanent.

Oops I meant 2 resistors
Thanks Grainger
Can I ask what you meant by a jumper?
Cheers Paul
Have a good new year everyone, hoping Kit is sent out in next batch as cant wait to build it!

Radio Shack sells short jumper wires with alligator clips on each end. They can be used to swap out different size resistors and select the one that you find best. You just clip on where you would solder the resistors. And have the ends outside where you can change them out easily.
