Decided to finally get this thing done. Been sitting in storage closet for a while now...
Has anything changed with the design since 2013? I'm sure I have a copy of the instruction manual somewhere on an old hard drive, but can't find it. Only new manual I've found thus far is password protected. Where can I download the pdf?
Pictures online of new builds look the same as mine.

Which power transformer do you have?

Thanks for the quick response. Says Bottlehead PT-3.

That's an older version of the manual. You should be able to contact replacementparts(at)bottlehead(dot)com about getting ahold of a Crack 1.0 manual.

Thanks Paul. Just sent them a note.
I haven't soldered the caps on yet. Thinking I should buy fresh ones since the originals are nearly a decade old now. Is it worth the effort or just rock what I've got?

If you have the black Panasonic (M) snap-in caps, I would just use those.

Just be careful when soldering in the LED's. Wear safety-glasses when soldering.
The LED's only need very short bursts of heat on the end of the leads, just enough to get the joint right.
When they've been in storage for so long it's possible they've absorbed some moisture. So be careful putting them in place.
