Title: How to replace pin on resistor
Post by: Swollazn on August 30, 2022, 12:45:29 PM
One of my pins broke off the big 10w 3k resistor. I tried to solder it back on but that wouldn't work.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this

If it is broken off at the body of the resistor you are S.O.L. contact Eileen at Bottlehead for a replacement or order one from a supplier like Mouser. but you will probably save money by ordering from Bottlehead.

I ordered a replacement from amazon, it should be the same (ceramic resistor with same specs). But I emailed them just in case if that would work.

If it's a 10W 3K resistor and it fits in the space provided, it will likely work just fine.
