Title: My impressions of the Stereomour's sound

Here is a note that may be of interest to others who are building, or contemplating building, the Stereomour kit from Bottlehead.

First, let me note I have prior experience with a tube amp

Nice write-up!  Thanks for sharing your impressions.  With a better source and some time for all things to settle in, it's going to get even better, as I'm sure you are aware.

Great review!  I know exactly what you mean.  My Bottlehead Sex amp is very similar on my headphones.  It has better resolution and sounds more live than my $2,000 Bryston integrated amp!

I've had exactly those moments!!! My friends who haven't been over to take a listen don't understand at all.  Then they come over and say things like "I hear that there" while pointing squarely off to their right.  Then they say that's impossible...

Anyone else see a family resemblance?  No wonder you love your Stereomour, it's in your blood!!! :-)

Glad you like your Stereomour so well...it is a really nice amp that you will enjoy for years to come.
