Title: Startup Hum?

Having come from a S3X, I've noticed that the Mainline has a medium loudness hum for <10 seconds on power up which goes fades into a hiss for ~3 seconds then goes almost dead silent(when nothing's playing) except on -0dB. is this normal or have I done something funny when putting the kit together?

Yeah it is a funny sounding set of noises isn't it?  Totally normal!
