Title: Cleaning Bottlehead Crack tube sockets + tube pins
Post by: Colonl_Charisma on January 11, 2024, 04:25:42 AM
Hi all,

It's been a minute since I last posted. What is the best method to cleaning tube sockets in a BH Crack? Also, what about cleaning tube pins?

I built my BH Crack back in 2020, and finished modifying it in 2021. I've never cleaned the tube sockets or pins of my tubes, but I know it's recommended after long periods of time. I appreciate all the help!

Basic contact cleaner spray with the red straw in the spray nozzle can be directed into tube socket contacts pretty easily.  Pins don't necessarily need to be cleaned since the socket contacts will scrape against the pins anyway.  BW-100 is the cleaner I have been using for a while.

Thanks so much, Paul. I’ll be sure to pick up BW-100.
