Title: Sparkos Discrete Voltage Regulators - (Solved)
Post by: TheRedMantra on August 21, 2024, 07:43:14 AM
I’ve been loving my C2A. I use it primarily with vinyl but recently bought a Geshelli Jnog3 DAC. I went with the stock opamps and am going to order a Sparkos ss2590 opamp for my RCA out. I see they also make premium discrete voltage regulators for the power supply.

They’re not horribly expensive. They can customize the output for the application. I’m curious what people think of this upgrade. Silly? Worthwhile? I’m happy to be a guinea pig here.

*Edit: I talked to Andrew at SparkoS and he said his components will not work with shunt regulators. Hope this helps someone else. Years from now. Digging through the depths of the internet. Hello friend.

Those look like they would be useful potentially for something like the filament on a 300B, but they are definitely not high voltage regulators.
