Title: Question regarding Moreplay upgrade kit.

Does the upgrade kit take the 9.4 Vac and output 6.3Vdc and removing the dropping resistors for the heaters?

Roger that PB. i have a motorized Alps 10 k log pot from a failed / abandoned project that I can use to give remote volume control on the Moreplay..
being that I'm handicapped that would be cool. I use the Moreplay in my kitchen with a s3x and a pair of Overnight sensations, sounds good. IIRC Alps specs state 4.5 to 6.5 Vdc to operate the motor and I believe I measured the current draw of the motor was 50ma max. Can use a 7805 voltage reg to power a 2 channel IR relay board. Thanks for the reply.

If the current draw for the motor is that low, you can use the DC output from one of the heater regulators on the upgrade board.
