Post by: decommo on January 23, 2025, 04:08:37 PM
Hello,

I personally do not like two separate boxes and is there a way to convert Kaiju 300B to Integrated amp like Stereomour II?

Thank you..

Yes, you'd need to design a different top plate with a selector switch, volume pot, and more jacks.  This would best be accomplished by pushing the power supply off to one side and having the signal section all on the other side.  We have not done any testing on such a layout, nor have we attempted to lay something like that out.

You can try it out with a stock Kaiju and a single source. It does have a level control, for optimizing the gain structure of your system. It's a linear control, not logarithmic, but you can swap it out if the arrangement is otherwise adequate - i.e. if you don't need a balance control or source selector and your source has a high enough output.
