Title: Can the Crack OTL Headphone Amp be used to drive high efficiency full range spkr

Good day all, been looking through the posts for the above topic but either could not find satisfactory results or didn't look long enough. Is the Crack OTL headphone amp capable of driving a pair of lowther dx-3 full range speaker drivers? I don't need club volume levels but some decent level of home listening. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Nope, Crack is a high impedance output headphone amp. I would suggest considering the S.E.X. amp.

Thanks Doc B., I'll look into the S.E.X. as an alternative then.

Just to add to Doc's post. If you tried it, it would likely sound bad since the impedance is so far off.  If it sounded good it probably wouldn't on other high sensitivity speakers.
