Title: Waltz for Debbie in high-res 24/192
Post by: Jim R. on April 14, 2011, 02:56:19 PM
Thought you jazz fans out there might enjoy this -- not to mention who did the remastering work :-).
vAn HDtracks exclusive presentation:
The 192kHz/24bit
 remastering of Bill Evans'
Waltz For Debby
*Remastered by Paul Stubblebine using the Keith Johnson-designed Pacific Microsonics
A/D converter
These files are transferred from the original analog master tapes exclusively, not
from safety copies or production dubs. The transfers are made in a facility dedicated
to getting the most quality possible from these masters, and preserving all of the
information in the files so that it's available to the listener...

Will be downloading mine tomorrow!

Thanks, Bryon.  Sorry John, went to bed after that post and hit the floor running this morning and just now got a break.

Wonder if the TP guys will see this tape in the next series?

Just about to download mine now.

It's already in our catalog, in the first series.

Wow, this recording/re-mastering is out of this world!  Even on my 16/44 dac and using PureMusic's superb SRC algorithm.  This is scary real!

Highly recommended.

BTW, they also have a 24/96 version.
