Title: Above Chassis Bias - Part Deux (Question for PJ)
Post by: Paully on September 17, 2011, 04:47:02 AM
Paul, you helped me when I was putting in some bias pots above the chassis for 45 tubes.  If memory serves we used some diodes and a 1.1K and a 3.3K resistor per board.  If I want to play around with some 300B tubes and convert my Paramount back do I need to change the values of those resistors?

Those resistors and that circuit are not useful for the 300B; they are specific to the direct coupled setups. It's in the manual - different driver plate voltage settings for 2A3 and 300B.

All right, thanks for the response!  I will look in the manual.
