Title: Is this the right tube?

My crack kit came with a 12au7 and an OD3 tube.  Would this explain the odd voltage readings I am getting?

LOL, yeah that probably doesn't work too well! Eileen will send you a 6080.

Thanks, Doc.  For all I know they are the same tube. I gotta say I was disappointed when I realized the readings weren't right.  You have such good instructions that usually the kits work perfectly from the start. I was afraid I had screwed something up.
