Does anybody know if there are still things available that we used to call "rivnuts" back in the early 80s? These are rivets with threaded holes in them for mounting in sheet metal. The rivnuts themselves weren't too expensive, but the tools to cut the anti-spin notch and to mount the rivnut itself cost a small fortune.
Is there anything similar today, and hopefully that doesn't require expensive tooling to use?
Thanks,
Jim
