Having lived always in Mexico City I'm used to the earth shaking bu this was awful and scary. I was in an elevator 14 stories above ground.

Yeow, that would not be the best place to ride thru an earthquake!

Wow!  I'm glad to hear you are fine.  What an experience being in an elevator.  I would suppose they shut down from such a motion.  Were you stuck in the elevator?

Scary stuff -- hope you and yours are all well and that you could listen to some music to calm yourself down after that experience.
