That's awesome! Would those be for headphones or for a line-stage? Either/both?

Hi Keto:
Those appear to be DS-050\600 which is a rare bird. It has a 5,000 ohm single ended airgapped
primary winding with 600, 337.5 and 150 ohm secondary taps. It could be used as both a linestage
(i.e., preamp) output or as a earphone\headphone output trans. Obviously it power handling capacity
would be far in excess of what you'd ever want to shove into your ears :=)
I believe that I may have some coil stock left for these guys.

Mike,
Beautiful Iron! I think I like it as much as my brass end bells on my TFA-2004 (box says TFA-204 (M4)) transformers on my Paramours. IIRC that is overkill, but still awesome!
Oh, I polished them and then lacquered them so I wouldn't have to polish them ever again.

Thanks Grainger for the compliments. If you have any pics of the polished and lacquered brass covers I'd love to see them. Post'em if
you can.
I used to joke around about some of our iron--- the big ones---- that "pre-amp" output is the same size as a 35 watt Dynaco output
transformer. I sort of quit making\promoting them halfway out of fear that I could be brought up in an international tribunal for inefficient
use of the world's resources. Though if beauty of sound counts--- I might have been offered a reprieve.

Mike,
Ok, the first two pictures look the same and were taken today. I went to brass screws and nuts so they would look better.

This is just after polishing, lacquering and reassembly. It is a little out of focus because the camera was on the fritz so it was taken on a phone with bad focus.

Cool. Thanks Grainger for the pics. Eye candy is always good!!!

Ok, since I took the previous pictures of the backs of my transformers here are two from the sides (left then right):

My bases are tiger wood veneer. This is the same amp from both sides. The Shuguang tube covers much of the beautiful output transformer.

I love the look of the Tiger wood...John
