Title: Crack beats CSP2+
Post by: jimiclow on June 20, 2012, 03:52:41 PM
I bought a Decware CSP2+ last year as a preamp for my Zen and Taboo. It sometimes serves as a headphone amp for my DT990-600.
A month ago, I started building the crack and was surprised by its performance. Very quiet although I haven't upgraded with Speedball. Just yesterday, I compared the two and can say that I prefer the Crack over the CSP2+. The Crack can play as loud as the CSP2+, not to mention that the channels are reversed on the CSP2+.
I'm afraid of the fate of my Taboo and Zen once my Stereomour arrives next month.  :-\

Were you also using the Crack as a preamp for your Taboo? If so, how did you do that?

Best regards,
Adam
