This question is in reference to the upcoming 300B preamp. If you were to use this preamp to power Paramount 300Bs (or any 300B amp for that matter), would it be too much of a good thing? You know, like when cousins marry. :)
I can't imagine that you guys would offer a preamp that wouldn't work well with your TOTL amp but I think the question should be asked. Is anyone already using a preamp that uses some of the same tubes as in their amplifier?
Of course the situation I'm asking about is a bit different than most other cases. Specifically, the preamp gain tube is the same as the amp output tube. Anything else new on the 300B preamp front? Thanks.

That is the primary intended use of the 300B preamp - to make a great combination with the Paramount.

Thanks for responding Doc, that's all I really need to know. I look forward to future updates on the 300B preamp.
