This intimate concert series was dreamed up by NPR's Bob Boilen (directed and chose the incidental music for All Things Considered) and Stephen Thompson.
Performers are invited to come and play at Bob's desk at the NPR offices. I don't know if it's the location or the idea but it seems like an awful lot of musical magic goes down in front of those overstuffed bookcases.
