Title: ActiveS.E.X.
Post by: Tre on July 30, 2012, 07:46:14 AM
Can someone explain the purpose of placing the secondary of the output transformer (now used as the plate choke) in the cathode circuit in what is now a parafeed amplifier?

What effect does that have?

It's on page 13 of this pdf.

It creates a local feedback loop at the cathode of the output tube. I did this to get a little more power out of the circuit.

Interesting.

Does it affect the inductance of the primary in any way?
