Stereomour + LCD-2 Rev. 1 = No Hum!
I just confirmed it!
And it drove the LCD-2 with enough power, although it's just using a 45 tube.
On my Grado 60i, I can hear a hum but I use this can to fine tune the hum pots, very easy to do than a volt meter (my meter only goes down to 1mv). Even my Schiit Lyr hums on Grado to the same level.
The sound? Hey, it's a Bottlehead!
This Stereomour has a 330uf input and 220uf last caps. The OT's are configured for a 4-ohm load.
Update: On the stock Sovteks, still no hum.

Great report! I'll mod my LCD-2 cable and try it as well once I get my Stereomour up and running.

Convert to balanced output. It will get even better.

Hi Doc!
Is this the one you posted on other thread about making a "virtual center tap" using 2-70 ohm resistors?

Yes.

Thanks Doc!
I will try it.

I have the SEX 2.1 with impedance switches installed and curious if this would yield a similar level of performance using the speaker outputs with the blanched mode vs. the headphone jack.
