Merry Christmas to all the Bottleheads!

Hey look what Santa left me.
I'm not sure if it means I've been naughty or nice.

Happy Holidays to all the wonderful folks that keep this forum one of the best places for the audio obsessive to hang out.
So, take some couch time, listen to your favorite tunes and savor an adult beverage.

"It's a wonderful world we live in..."

(nice ta see that even threads get recycled these days)

Happy Holidays to everyone from Eileen and I. We slept in after rolling in last night from the extended family gig at 1 a.m. and woke up to a white Xmas, pretty neat! Just might fire up the Hammond and make the family suffer through my incredibly badly played rendition of The Christmas Song. Hope you all got what what you asked Santa for.

Here is the Holiday Message as approved by my lawyer.

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all... and a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2013, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great (not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country or is the only "America" in the Western hemisphere), and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, or sexual orientation of the wishee.

This wish is limited to the customary and usual good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first."Holiday" is not intended to, nor shall it be considered, limited to the usual Judeo-Christian celebrations or observances, or to such activities of any organized or ad hoc religious community, group, individual or belief (or lack thereof).

DISCLAIMER: By accepting this greeting, you are accepting the following terms: This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher at any time, for any reason or for no reason at all. This greeting is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. This greeting implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for the wishee, him/herself or others, or responsibility for the consequences which may arise from the implementation or non-implementation of same.

This greeting is void where prohibited by law.

Not valid in KY, CA, or District of Columbia

You had really strange teen years, didn't you?

I not only agree with the Booze remark I had posted on it.

You're a little older than me, I was 13 in 68.  I was building speaker boxes back then too.  And crystal radios.

Thanks for the memories - :)

1969 was a great year for me I was born for a start  :P and taken to my first Isle of Wight festival at the age of three months to watch Bob Dillon amongst others, I cant remember a thing. But my olds said it was really something.

Last years Isle of Wight festival was a very special and memorable for me. A balmy summer evening spent watching Springsteen & the E street band playing into a beautifully sunset (after a week of rain) then on into the night for 4hrs straight. He finished the set with a cover of a old English folk song from the Beatles "Twist and Shout" as fireworks lit up the night sky.  An amazing experience I will treasure for a long time.
