Title: Do it all Pre?

Can the BeePre acceptably and effectively replace the Eros as the pre for phono or tape?  Could it be said that it would be desirable to use the BeePre in either of those scenarios VS the Eros?

The BeePre is just a control preamp that can take multiple sources like musicserver/DAC, tuner, phono preamp, etc. It's not a "full preamp" with a built in phono stage. So it needs the Eros ahead of it for phono.
