on its own server.  Near as I can tell, AA has been dead in the water since shortly after 11:00 this morning.

To Rod's credit I only recall one other time a few years back when AA was down for more than a few hours. He had gone on a trip and asked his son to reset the server if it went down. His son forgot to check and as fate would have it it went down that weekend.

Don't know how many of you may have noticed but our server went down a couple weeks ago for an hour or so. Stuff happens. I am happier with this new setup, and I think it is shaping up into a pretty useful resource.

It is curious that though AA is up this morning there is no discussion of what happened.

Well, the error message given referred to a server error, so if that is to be believed, I'm guessing it was some kind of software issue.  IOW, the site was there, it just wasn't behaving properly.  For instance, the Home Page wasn't accessible, but you could access the old Bottlehead Forum from here.

You're right, though, seems curious that there doesn't seem to be much chatter about it.
