You can buy a pre-release license now.  The list of caveats for this are that it will initially consist of some beta demos that will time out after 30 days, will most likely not be reliable for a few months for day to day use, and will only support audio for the first year... but at least it's happening.

I sure hope they make it usable with VoiceOver as their windows product is useless with my screen reader.

I've not tried it, so I can't answer your questions at this point.  I believe one of the big deals of this software is that it is better than iTunes at catalogging classical music.

I'm curious. My plan is to burn some vinyl in the near future, and JRiver says that it can be done. The problem is that I could not find any specs as to what the maximum sample rate is for recording. I am pretty sure they said that recordings can use a 32-bit dept, and has an automatic splitter that will put a break in between songs when it senses silence. I will be going straight from my Eros into a Mac, hopefully without having to use a hardware interface. For $29 the price is right.
