Title: active load board B side LEDs are out
Post by: balancedtriode on February 20, 2013, 08:53:28 AM
I was removing the base from the amp to add feet to it, one lead of my new power supply caps came lose. I resoldered it and then I powered it up. I noticed both of the b-side leds are out, and no sound. I need to find my meter before I can do a resistance check but  I'm quite sure I knocked another wire lose. any suggestions on what I should check first? also when I find my meter, which terminals should I check first for voltage/resistance.
I am wishing I had just decided not to put fancy feet on it  :-[ I tend to be clumsy when redoing a project. Any suggestions would be helpful
thanks,
Coltrane

The easiest place to start is simply take a magnifier and look for a loose wire. If you find one, look at the end still attached and you should be able to figure out from the manual where the other end needs to be reattached.

no loose wires, I guess I need to find my meter.
EDIT: Found my meter(covers face with palm) I disconnected a jumper on the active load board and didn't even notice it, until my meter pointed it out to me.  :-[
