Title: got my quickie built , checks fail
Post by: underdawg on March 03, 2013, 11:55:22 AM
The circuits cehck as follows:

Everything in resitance is good except a1 and b1 read open referenced to ground
Everything in voltage checks is good except rotary b reads 0 volts

is the problem my noble volume control?

Thanks for the assistance

If A1/B1 are open to ground, but A7/B7 are not, then there is certainly an issue, as those should be tied together.

If the voltages at 1 and 5 are close to the specification, I'd suspect a measuring issue at the other locations
