Title: RAAL DTD tweeter
Post by: ALEXZ on March 13, 2013, 03:15:07 PM
Hello,
does anyone use RAAL DTD in a parafeed configuration with 300b or 2a3 SET ?   There very little DTD transformers  data available, from what I've got from Aleks they are 3k, gapped for ~80ma, so designed to use as "traditional" anode transformers ... Any recommendations are very welcomed.  Thank you.

When I got my Raal ribbons, they were supposed to have the gapped amorphous 3K transformers, but when I attempted to hook them up this way, the results were very poor.  In retrospect, I think they ended up sending me the first generation drivers.

Strange, are they marked DTD ?   You probably can measure transformer, DTD should be 175:1,
regular 8 ohm something like  9:1
