While reading a thread regarding discharging power supply caps, I ran across mention of this transmitter tube.
Just check out the heater requirements!

That is one HOT tube!  The heater/cathode casts a white light but it doesn't seem you could see it.

Easier to find than A Flux Capacitor ;)...John
