Big things are happening over at NPR and if you're one of those guys that can't pass up a yard/estate sale, this is for you.
The BBC World News just went through a similar yard sale but considering the shipping costs, well, that one was for our friends across the pond.
So, if you've got the time to look through this extensive auction listing, and would like to buy a couple of dozen speakers, DAT recorders, amplifiers,..
I do think it would be cool to own the production studio that's been the home of "All Things Considered" and "Morning Edition" but I think I'll have to pass on this one.

BTW, I looked through the entire thing last night so if you give up, you can ask if I saw something in particular (like a few Studer 810's, Otari 5050's and MCI 110's).

Where is all of this stuff shipping from Steve? There is some interesting items there but shipping can be prohibitive.
-
I'm assuming that it's all still located at the NPR headquarters in Washington DC.

Is NPR upgrading or are they going out of business?
-
They're moving to a new location and upgrading systems in the process. There's a story about it here:

I've read a few stories in the WSJ in the past year or so that NPR has been doing very well.
Some of this growth has been due to the success of NPR Music.
Here's a recent article:
