Title: Precision resistors on craigslist - worth getting?
Post by: rif on April 28, 2013, 02:18:31 PM
Like most things on CL you need to know what exactly you're getting into. So are these even remotely worthwhile? It's not the type of thing you usually see on CL.

If they are interesting I could pick up a batch for others since they're local to me.

Those are some oddball resistance values, I wouldn't get any unless you foresee needing them.

For $1/resistor, there are some nice choices out there...

The precision is the value of the resistor, but what it is made of is more important.  You can buy a fist full of 1% resistors for 17 cents each and hand match them with a good meter.

So probably not worth the hassle.
