Along with the LPs, another thing that is making a comeback is the idea of the old console stereos.  There are folks who restore and update them and can't turn them out fast enough, plus some companies building all new ones.  This could be a really interesting project for our media room -- replace the equipment rack, assorted boxes and wires and such running all over the place and build a purpose built console full of BH electronics, blumenstein speakers and sit a TV on top if so inclined.  I've been thinking a lot about this the last couple months and once the main system is complete to my satisfaction, this may just be my next big project.  Will also let me get my cabinetmaking chops back too, which I love almost as much as audio.

Look at the units made by Symbol -- $26k.  Sure hope somebody brings some of these things to RMAF this year.
