I'm using the BJC branded Belden 5000 10 ga. copper (BJC calls it 10 White) to my Orcas, because Clark uses it internally. I see where pcx is selling out their lot of Cardas SE-11 at about $10/ft. Anyone use this stuff?

no experience with Cardas... Speaker wire is tough. Its the last piece of wire to carry the signal to its destination, and it can get frickin pricey as hell due to the lengths etc. IMHO, if you have your eye on a brand or model of wire and it goes on sale, big time - like 50-75% off or more, I would go for it, as long as its still affordable. If its still not affordable you shouldnt be looking at it to begin with! I have changed my opinion on technologies as of late. I used to buy into the multi gauge sold core designs ex. Audioquest. I have some of their big ass garden hose shit that I used happily for a dozen years or so. Didnt know what I was missing until I switched to single strand propitiatory alloy. Fucking voodoo shit, but what can I say.

Yessir, voodoo it is. Dead chickens all over the place.
The Cardas stuff at pcx is 50% off. $125 for a 6' pair, plus $36 for 4 pair of AQ gold plated copper spades. Seems interesting, but I know that I'm too eager to push the "buy" button these days.
