Title: Paramount voltage problems? All help appreciated
Post by: docbob52 on June 09, 2013, 09:20:22 AM
I was about to listen to the Paramounts but I noted several voltage discrepancies:

Terminal should be / Is

6: 0/ 75

10: 233/ 0

11: 164/ 231

12: 0/ 163 A amp and 126 B amp

13: 94/ 0 and this terminal in the manual has no connections so I think this is a misprint

Resistances were all ok except

9: 124k/ 292k A amp

There were some issues with the voltage measurements in the Paramount 1.1 manual. I've fixed them and revamped the tests for the manual. There is a sticky post at the top of this forum that goes over the new measurements. I seem to recall terminal ten was one of the more troublesome. Try those new tests and post back if you still have discrepancies.

Josh,

That takes care of terminal 10 being 0 as it was on my assessment.  I still have the following discrepancies that are greater 15%

Terminal should be / Is

6: 0/ 75

11: 164/ 231

12: 0/ 163 on the A amp and 126 on the B amp

13: 94/ 0

Resistances were all ok except:

9: 124k/ 292k on the  A amp, the B amp was normal.

All help appreciated.
