Title: Gotta brag a little

I attended two graduations this weekend - both for the same kid! Kate received her high school diploma Friday and her AA degree this afternoon, both with honors. And Colin once again made the Dean's list at the Dub.
Color me proud.

Wow! a diploma and a PhD in Applied Astrophysics in the same day! Not bad!

Congratulations Dan and Eileen!  You have every reason to be proud parents.  And even better, your kids both love and respect you both.  Certainly well-deserved!  (oh, and major kudos to Kate!)

  I always am reminded how blessed we are as parents when things are headed in the right direction for our kids. Events such as these give me hope for the future. I have seen too many times, parents who have done everything imaginable to help their children only to be disappointed, or worse. Jail visits, raising grandchildren, and the like. Be very proud of this, for it is the best that could ever be hoped for.

As parents this is what we all pray for....that our kids take and pick good directions in life.  You have much to be proud of.
