Title: Value of Pot in Crack

Ha Ha this word play is too much fun.

What is the value of the potentiometer in the Crack kit?  I ordered a kit but I'm thinking a trip to the store to get an Alps Blue Velvet maybe a good idea before it gets here.

I should add I saw the FAQ but 25k to 250K is a big range.  Just curious what actually ships with the kit.

The one in the kit is 100K. But as you probably already know, you aren't limited to that value.

John,

I expect the Crack is like the FP 2.  As Adam points out, a wide range can be used. 

I remember some guys saying that they liked the sound of a 50k better, it had lower noise.
