I need 4 .1uF caps for a project and would like to check with you guys to see if anyone would be interested in purchasing a couple so I can hit the 5-24 price.  The 2-4 price is $95.51 and the 5-24 price is $84.16.    Hit me with a PM if you want to play along.  (I

I like to fantasize about buying a V-Cap once in awhile. What stops me is that I can only afford something that is basically a bypass cap. Not sure what other's experiences have been with V-Caps, but I love some info about how people have used them, and whether they found them to be worth it etc. - thanks - Eric

I have a couple pairs of teflon V-caps and in every application I've used them they bring a big, open and clear sound.  Expensive but you get what you pay for.  I also have a pair of the cheaper OIMP caps but it's been a while since I've used them.  What I remember was that they really didn't impress me.

I've heard great things about the copper V's but dang they are ridiculously expensive!

I have used the teflon copper, teflon tin, and OIMP caps from V-cap.

These are very, very expensive caps, but certainly the best I have worked with sonically.  I must admit, however, that the break in on the Teflon caps was more dramatic than I had expected.

I do highly recommend securing these tightly, as they are very heavy, and you can simply snap them off your leads if you leave them loose.

For a fair amount of Bottlehead products, the OIMP caps fit the bill (I'd love to hear a Crack with four 47uF OIMP's in it).
