Based on admittedly a small sample (one album), Feedbands seems like a nice, new variation on the old record club theme.
For about $20 a month, a subscriber receives an LP from a new (and undisclosed) band, and, afaik, a coupon for a digital download of the same.
This month it's a nice, multi-color pressing of the eponymous "The Vliets." (think kinda like some mellower Foo Fighters). I happen to like it, and it sounds well produced.
So far, so good...perhaps a little too early to tell, but as I recall, I was spending close to $20 a month (in then-year dollars) on the old Columbia record and tape club for a lot of sh|t I didn't want and could only eventually use for skeet shooting....

"Columbia record and tape club." They were evil. They sucked me in once, kept sending me all this crap I didn't want, and had to pay for it.
Kinda sounds like the cable company...John
