From 3-7p.m. Saturday we will be hosting the Seattle Head Fi group. All are welcome to come and listen to a broad array of headphones and headphone related gear. Along with all the cool gear that many participants bring and set up at tables throughout the facility, we have set up several Bottlehead based listening stations in our listening room, where you can hear your own headphones plugged into Crack, S.E.X. and Mainline amps playing music from our music server and also audition our own reference headphone listening stations, consisting of modified HD800s driven by a Mainline amp and AKG K1000s powered by our BeePre 300B preamp and Paramount 300B amps - both being fed by our Nagra T Audio tape machine with Bottlehead Tube Repro tape head preamp, playing Tape Project tapes. We will also have a Tode guitar amp set up there with a guitar that you can audition with closed back headphones.
Looks like it will be a pretty sizable group - and don't forget that there are a brewery, winery and distillery to enjoy right here in our business park.

Please post pictures afterwards!

A "meeting"? A little formal dont you think? How about a "gathering". That might be a bit counter cultural, though. Lets see. How about a "congress".. no thats definately not good. "Junction", that could work... How about "hook-up"? There you go, consistent with the sexual theme! Cant go wrong. I'm just jealous that I live 1000 miles away to attend it!

can-gregation?

I know , it would be incredible to attend... and "brewery, winery and distillery to enjoy right here in our business park." .. what the hell kind of a business park is that?.. sounds more like a libation sanctuary to me.. Doc knows how to pick 'em I tell ya...

The irony is that I quit drinking about two months ago - saves me a lot of money.
-
Haha, as have I... almost 2 months now... and I was just thinking today how superb I am feeling...
-
I hear ya. Feeling good, back to my old program of jogging 3 miles four times a week and losing weight. I usually feel that quoting lyrics is kinda lame, but one that does come to mind for me lately is from a Paul Delay tune -
"I quit drinkin' for a reason
I didn't want to see another good day pass me by"
-
Yes, again me as well... I am back in the gym and seeing the 'ol strength comin' back... About seeing a good day pass me by... Well, it happened a couple of times where i woke up thinking it was thursday, and after checking my phone, found that it was actually tuesday.... the other time was a wednesday when it was monday, so at least I was consistantly 2 days off! Gotta look at the positive... :)
