Title: Parallel coupling capacitors in Crack
Post by: Ritchie on October 08, 2013, 04:56:55 PM
Thinking of changing my output coupling caps to film type. Is there any detriment to using multiple caps in parallel to get your required value as long as the values used are the same?
For example two 50uf caps in parallel to get your 100. Non polar of course.

Thanks,
Ritchie

Go for it.  Make sure the voltage rating is equal or higher as the stock cap.
